Millbrae's Boy Scout Troop 355 was formed in 1960 and is the only surviving troop of the original three in the city.
Millbrae Lions Club is our charter organization since 2013.
Our scouts come from throughout the upper-peninsula cities of Millbrae, South San Franciisco, San Bruno, Pacifica & Daly City and we welcome all to visit us during one of our bi-weekly Troop meetings!
We meet the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7 pm at the Chetcuti Room (next to the Millbrae library). And PLC's are held the second Thursday. Meetings normally run 90 minutes.
Troop 355 offers a varied boy run program that mixes outdoor activities as well as community service events.
Our Troop plans five to six weekend camping trips plus hiking, biking, kayaking and shooting sports events throughout the year.
Community Service events include local flag ceremonies, beach clean up, food drives and annual Memorial Day grave decorating.
The highlight of our summer program is a week long summer camp at one of the BSA run camps, and we are introducing a week-long summer backpacking trip in 2016.
Annually we provide trash clean up / recycling services for the Millbrae Art & Wine Festival as our primary fundraising event through the Millbrae Chamber of Commerce.
